The 'B' word!!!

We all love to hate them but they are a necessary evil in my workout, today I thought they were going to get the better of me but I kept out trainers favourite saying in my head ' just keep chipping away'
I managed 82 this morning all up, not too shabby!

Tick that off the to do list!

We went for a run this morning, it looked very daunting from the start, we knew last time we tried we were only able to run in 50 metres spurts and walked most of it.
We watched our friends run the whole thing and were determined to one day be able to do the same and now we have!
3.4 km, I think it was a bloody good effort, we just kept chipping away and didn't stop.
I'm amazed on a daily basis at just how much we have achieved in the last 8 months not only have we gained fitness, lost weight but we have made some wonderful new friends and achieved some amazing things, I can't wait to see what the next 12 months has in store.

Wow!

What an amazing week!
What an amazing life!
Sometimes it's the little things that really make you look around and see how blessed you are.
I'm fit, I'm healthy, I have three amazing sons and I have wonderful friends!
What more could I want?

Training is so much fun, I'm pushing myself hard ( still need to get a handle on the chatting during training bit) and on the odd occasion I'm not actually last! Woohoo!
I'm killing the driveway, we had to run it 16 times during the session and I did it, I slowed down a bit but I didn't stop, I won't stop, nothing is going to stop me... Not even the dreaded Nutella sandwich!!

She was right!!

Today I actually watched Michelle's video in 12wbt and listened to her advise and you know what? She's right! Who'd a thunk it! Lol
I'm a bored eater and being a stay at home mum with a toddler there's lost of down time while he's in bed, I've tended to play couch potato but today I was sitting being bored and remembered what mich said about getting up and being occupied and hey it worked!
I cleared out my old bookshelves and sorted my books into the new one, I de cluttered and didn't snack so double WIN!!
Tomorrows job is to make a double batch of vege sheppards pie to portion and freeze so when I star school next week there will be no excuses for bad eating :-)

See me run!

What a great start to the week, training was fantastic, i was running.. actually running.. uphill!
my head was going woohoo this is great, my legs were going WTF?
Lots of driveway work this morning, im loving the challenge and everyone support is spurring me on.
Only one small slip up with food in the last week, the nutella was calling me from the pantry, i did try very hard to ignore it for an hour but in the end it won :-(
But hey one slip up isn't bad, i just have to do better next week and maybe a few extra laps to work the sandwich off ;-/
Only 2 more days til weigh in and i have a magic number in my head, lets just wait and see if ive achieved it!

Go hard or go home!

You know you've changed your way of thinking about food when a 'guilty pleasure' is a tiny pack of sultanas and you feel guilty for eating them! Lol
We trained hard this morning, I was feeling a bit woe is me this is hard but I sucked it up and kept going.
I'm telling myself it's only an hour a day, go hard or go home!

Day I'm not sure but it was a good day!

Had a great day today, I had a heap of energy and nailed the food again!
And I have to say there was a HUGE temptation while I was out tonight at a friends party, lets just say I deserve a medal for what I said no to... ;-)
Can't wait for training in the morning, hopefully ill still have this much energy and focus, we shall see! :-)
